Review: Travalo Set

May 18, 2013

A problem that occurs with many  people (and by many people I mean me): the fact that you can’t take perfume bottles with you.  As they are made from glass, the risk of breaking a flacon in your bag is great. But there is a solution! Okay, now I’m talking like an actor featured in a commercial: this product will save you life!

Maybe you’re already familiar with the products from Travalo – they are raved about by a decent amount of beauty bloggers.

Travalo Refillable Perfume Spray Set

Earlier today I bought a set from Travalo (€14,99 at the Etos, a Dutch drug store), containing two of their famous refillable perfume bottles and a little leather case. I already own a similar product, made by Etos‘ own label – it’s the pink one on the picture below.

Here’s how you fill the Travalo with your favourite perfume. By removing the cap from your perfume spray thingy and pressing the bottom of the Travalo bottle against it, you can place the liquid from your perfume bottle into the Travalo one. After just a minute of pumping, your Travalo is completely filled and your perfume is ready to go on adventures with you!

Side note: of course you can also keep other fluids in the Travalo bottle – for instance a body splash, facial spray or hair product.

On the next picture you can see the case that came with the Travalo set, in which you can fit both bottles.  I absolutely didn’t expect the inside of the case to be so pretty, I love it!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Travalo. The idea is genius! The bottles are convenient, durable and sturdy – and the case is pretty (:
